I’ve been leveling with Ayo so that we can gift his monk Recruit-a-Friend levels when Mists hits. We don’t mind waiting to raid, but waiting for someone to catch up to 90 is a bit more than waiting for the slowest person to get from 85-90.
Anyway, the levels are gained so quickly that I’m almost level 50 and I still have common quality armor, or in some spots no armor at all.
I highly recommend doing the new Scholomance and Scarlet Monastery for those that haven’t yet. There’s a fun buff in Scholo… lasts a while and persists through death. I hearthed but it turns out when you level that quickly it’s easy to forget to set your hearth. I think I scared a few lowbies.
Another fun thing was that ICC is really, really bugged right now. Entering Upper Spire triggers the Dreamwalker encounter automatically… it made our first few attempts at Plague Wing trash a bit confusing. It also made the gauntlet a bit tough once we set to resolve the issue, especially with only 7 people. By the time we got to her, there were quite a few suppressors.
The run proved impossible once we finally got to Putricide though… abom just wasn’t hungry for slime.
Reading them isn’t even the problem at this point. How are you supposed to reach them?
Look at his health… we had to do almost the whole second phase like that because the stupid gnomes don’t know how to put out fires… it’s not like the ship even got close to dying either, still plenty of health.
Never send a gnome to do a goblin’s job.
